Endless 2024 Spring Trend Report

Endless Spring 2024 Fashion Trend Report

2023 was defined by a number of fashion trends, be it the epitomisation of comfort over aesthetics, with oversized blazers, pants and t-shirts taking hold. Not just this, bolder prints, flirty textures and sheer fabrics were hyper prevalent. In terms of trends, mini and micro mini skirts were extremely popular alongside cargo pants with a miraculous number of pockets.

However, in 2024, there will be a shift in the way that people express their sartorial selves. During this year, we will see unconventional pairings, light layering and a number of updated silhouette styles.

In terms of some of the upcoming spring fashion trends, here are a few that caught our eye:

  1. A blurring of the line between masculine and feminine dressing

For over a decade, the line between masculine and feminine dressing has become more and more blurred with each coming fashion show having more and more varied representation. Skirts are now being replaced by trousers and more dainty-looking cardigans were replaced by vests. In addition to oversized shirts and menswear sweaters, bulky blazers are mentioned as a pairing piece. Layering was also be an integral trend worth exploring in 2024.

  1. Luxury Sportswear

In an era where style and comfort are intersecting, athleisure is set to come up top when it comes to emerging as a dominant trend in the world of fashion. Hooded sweatshirts, baseball caps, sweatpants and co-ordinated loungewear are a few of the many trends that have proved to be extremely popular. The classic zip-up track top is making a stylish comeback, especially when it comes to monochrome tones.

  1. Sheers

Sheer trends have long been popular, in fact, runways in the 90s were adorned with sheer outfits, be it Calvin Klein, Prada or Versace. Come spring 2024, the style still prevails: sheer blouses, dresses, skirts and outerwear will add a delicate and ethereal appeal to any outfit. For 2024, try a sheer white dress for an angelic look, but with a sexy twist.

  1. High rise trousers

The versatility and chic appeal of high waist trousers is what makes it a popular contender this year. Whether paired with a tucked-in blouse or with a casual t-shirt, it offers ease in styling. Bearing inspiration from Loewe, and the mentality of the superiority of the high waist, try this super versatile piece of clothing for both, work and leisure.

  1. Business Casual

Super oversized suits are one of those trends that are taking the fashion world by a storm now. Blazers are expected to be oversized, falling to the top of the thigh. This not only adds a modern touch to the classic blazer but also contributes to the overall relaxed and exaggerated silhouette. To embrace this trend, individuals can explore pieces that align with the oversized and relaxed tailoring aesthetic, experiment with proportions, and find ways to infuse comfort into their workwear while maintaining a polished look.

  1. Short shorts

While super short shorts have been sort-of-a-polarising trend, they are making a big comeback this SS24. Across various fashion shows, such as Armani, Prada, Versace and Tom Ford, there have been variations of these short shorts be it micro shorts, with notable figures like Kendall Jenner and Beyoncé embracing these in their street style looks. Pairing short shorts with thigh high boots is the new talk of the town, be it sleek and sophisticated thigh high boots to more casual and edgy ones. This versatility allows individuals to adapt the look to different occasions and personal styles.
