"Endless Power Series: Cool Girls Do Therapy" ran on 11 June at LYLO at Canary Beach, and it's one of the few events members bring up unprompted months later. "My best friend convinced me to come and now we're both saying we need to make this a monthly thing," one member said afterward.
The format is part talk, part workshop. Sumiyah, a therapist and Endless brand partner, led a session on why therapy is worth taking seriously, what actually happens in a first session, and how to start if you've been putting it off. Members got the chance to ask her questions directly about things they're navigating, then stayed on to talk it through with each other once the formal part wrapped up.
It's part of The Endless Club's wider Power Series, talks built around things that genuinely change how members think about themselves, not generic self-help. Therapy carries enough stigma in most social settings that having a room of women openly discussing it, led by an actual therapist, made a bigger difference than a normal wellness class would.
It worked well enough that Volume 2 is already on the calendar for 27 August. Members who missed the first one, or want to bring a friend who's been curious about therapy but hasn't taken the step, now have a second chance.
Sumiyah is also an Endless Club brand partner, offering members 15% off therapy sessions directly, for anyone the talk convinces to go further than a Tuesday evening at LYLO.
